Sunday the 5th of October saw the 3rd round of the Banjo Cycles Rampage over at Checkendon in Reading. They decided to change the course direction for this round, this didn't make much of a difference as i've ridden all the trails in both directions at checkendon as there are limited trails. This was the first race on my Scott Scale 29 winter edition!, with slightly cheaper drivetrain for obvious reasons. This bike is still a top end race machine but after riding the spark for a week the rear end felt rather harsh but snappy.
Had a good race with Phillip Pearce, winter bike worked a treat cheers Ben Thomas & @mountain Trax Vauxhall motors cycling team for all the kit and nutrition to get the job done. Me and Phil had a good race and I just got a jump on him in the closing stages of the race. Top work from a rider who has dominated the Expert category in all races over the UK this year. Absolutely gutted for the old man Andre Pucci puncturing whilst in 4th place!. Such bad luck but that's racing. Thanks for reading
