Quick Update
Solid block of training at the moment ahead of the 2nd round of the National Points Series on the 28th of April. With the dry weather we have been experiencing lately I've been making the most of it and riding my local trails as often as possible. Dry mountain bike trails makes training much more appealing, beneficial and fun with alot less post ride hassle that if it was wet obviously. Swinley Forest is my main playground with new Blue and Red trail routes making what was already a great training ground even better.
Regarding races the 4th and final round of the Gorrick Spring Series is this coming Sunday the 7th of April at Frith Hill in Deepcut, just over the road from Porridgepot Hill. I was planning on riding but after having a slight knee problem this week i dont think it would be wise to race with the Southern Xc next week and then a week gap until the Nps Round 2 in Redruth. I will still be around at the Gorrick as im going down to ride a lap of the course and to meet Strada wheel builder Darren Rawlings to pick up a set of Strada built Carbon 29er wheels. Recently i have closed a deal with Strada Handbuilt wheels. My main sponsor still remains with Aw Cycles as Strada wheels are my 2nd sponsor. They are Supplying me with a pair of carbon 29er race wheels with Strada branded Carbon rims laced to Stans Alpha 330 Hubs with Sapim CX Ray spokes and alloy spoke nipples. I have never ridden a set of carbon mountain bike wheels so its very exciting to seal a deal with a Carbon wheel company. Just thinking about the carbon wheels i can already see where i can benefit from them. With world and Olympic champions riding carbon wheels they must be considerably faster than standard alloy wheels. After i have swapped the wheels over Sunday i might head over to Swinley and put the wheels through there paces and see how they perform.
Check out Strada's website via the link below. They have a massive range of wheels making wheels from full carbon race wheels to hub geared wheelsets.

Also a big thanks to Aw Cycles for the support so far this season
